Spring is arriving...

...and so is the rain! We have had gobs of rain! Although I don't mind because the grass is starting to turn green and we found buds on the trees in the backyard of our future house!

And speaking of future house, here are some initial pictures that we took at the inspection. We are still all set to close March 31st. We are SO thankful for what has been such a smooth process. Not much else to do besides wait...and pack. Yes, I began packing up some things this weekend. I know, such a dork! :)

Whew! Life feels like a whirlwind right now!

Most recent happenings...

...we went skiing in southern Indiana this past weekend. I know, skiing in Indiana? It was quite the adventure! It reminded me of high school youth group winter skip trips to NC. Not the best snow, and definitely small hills...but still loads of fun! Matt and Alisa went with us - it was Alisa's first time skiing. She was a pro by the end of the trip!

...we found a house we LOVE in Fishers. Its a Cape Code style and so far everything has been agreed upon. Hopefully we will close at the end of March! We have felt the Lord in this process from the beginning and have seen His timing throughout our search process, even when a house we thought we wanted fell through. We are pumped to put our own touches on the house and can't wait for friends/family to come visit! Kyle and I joke that we feel so "adult-ish" going through the home buying process. :) We will post more pictures as we are able to...
